Agios Sostis Beach

< BACK

OVERVIEW

The beach of Agios Sostis is located in the northern part of the island, inside Panormos Bay and is approximately 7 km from the town. It is one of the most remote and pristine beaches of Mykonos. In the past it was a traditional nudist beach because of the isolation it provides. It is one of the few beaches that remains untouched from the tourist development of the island.

The beach is not organized so make sure you carry all the essentials (water, coffee, parasol, etc.). There is a small restaurant on the beach that can serve you (only midday). Ideal for quiet and relaxing swimming and wind surfing when northern winds blow because the whole Panormos bay is exposed to the northen wind. When blowing southerly winds it is an ideal beach for swimming.

Access is via asphalt road and at the end  follows a short rough path which you walk to get to the beach. It is not connected with bus line so the only mode of transportation is by private or rented vehicle.
